Palpable value in art: ecologies of abstract thought

  • Year of Publication:
  • 2022

This report discusses the ways in which developments in the ontological and metaphysical philosophical understanding of matter and existence, can be furthered and assisted by art. It writes in favour of art being a vital resource in assisting and leading investigations into new materialism, theories of existence, and ecologies of abstract thought, on matters relating to philosophical and scientific reality, as well as subjectivity, artistic autonomy, and the physicality (materialisations and dematerialisation) of art.
