The UK climate change act sets a target of net zero carbon from all industries. The current progress made by the construction industry isn’t enough to meet this target. This study is assessing if environmentally sustainable techniques that will be used to meet I this target are available to all sizes of enterprises. These sizes are small 1-49 medium 50-249 and large 250+. A literature review was first used to find techniques used in UK literature and if an enterprise associated with this technique could be found. A quantitative research method was also chosen and this all resulted in showing that generally techniques are available to all enterprises. This suggests that the problem doesn’t lie with a lack of availability of techniques but maybe with the incentive to use the techniques.
